I Can See Clearly Now

With today being the first day of a new month, there are all kinds of amazing new things that have been released today! In fact, most of what I’m wearing came from events that opened today. This t-shirt, shorts, and belt are from Deadwool at the Monsieur Chic event. Monsieur Chic features a great mix of new releases and limited-edition items. This shirt is a new standard release, but this belt and these shorts are part of the limited-edition set (which also includes a different shirt). Only 100 of these are available, so if you want them for yourself, you have to head to the event soon!

This hair is brand new from Modulus for Swag Bag. For a long time now, ladies have had the opportunity to buy monthly subscription boxes that include items from a variety of different creators. Swag Bag is the first (as far as I know) for men! For those of us who subscribed last month, 14 of the 15 items were delivered today (the 15th has some technical issues with the distribution system). If you didn’t buy it in advance, it’s available tomorrow at their store.

These shoes are brand new from [Gos], and feature appliers from a few different items from their machine at The Gacha Garden. I love that you can mix and match the appliers for the tops of the shoes, shoe tongue, sole, and laces (along with a couple of options for the eyelets and the front part of the shoe), rather than just changing the whole shoe at once.

This outfit features accessories from a couple of stores that I’m an official blogger for, and that I’m so happy to be able to show you today. First, THIRST is releasing a series of sexy snapback hats at Epicene Unisex Fashion Event (which opens on the 13th) that say a variety of things, like Stud, Woof, Papi, and more. Each hat includes a HUD that allows you to change the text color and the color of the bill, hat, and snaps.

I’m also wearing these new lock and key nipple rings from Ama. that are available at Bodyfy. They come in 5 different metals, so you can get exactly the effect you’re going for.

Framing the nipple rings perfectly is a new hoodie from BlankLine along with matching sweatpants, both available at The Men’s Department this month.

Surf’s Up!

N4RS has been one of my favorite furniture brands for years because of their high-quality mesh and animations, and today they released a great new surf board at Collabor88. It’s available in three different versions – a PG version that has individual poses (like the one I used for this photo) and cuddles for couples, and two adult versions – one for male/female couples and one for male/male couples.

There haven’t been many swimsuits that have come out yet this year, but I’m wearing one from Faboo. that is in a gacha machine at The Jersey Shore right now. I’m also wearing new jewelry from BENJAMINZ, [The Plastik.], and [ kunst ] that is available at The Chapter Four and The Liaison Collaborative.

Lakeside Reflections

There’s so much great new stuff coming out lately for guys that I’ve been absolutely astounded. This look is pretty different for me, but I really like it. For me, what really brings the outfit together is this brand new hair from Drot, available at Men’s Only Monthly. This is the first time that Drot has released dreads, but I think they came out really well. My tank top is also from Men’s Only Monthly, and was created by N-Uno. I’m also wearing new items from .: RealEvil Industries :., not so bad, E-Clipse Design, [Bad Unicorn], and RK Poses from a few different events.

I took today’s photo on the Hades sim. I’ve taken one other photograph there before, but it’s been a while. Hades is a beautifully-designed sim created by Pixel Sideways that is a great spot for gay men to meet other gay men. There are so many great spots on the sim to take photographs, so I’m sure I’ll do more there soon.

At The Pub

From the first moment I saw this English pub gacha set by MadPea at 6 Republic, I knew I had to collect the whole thing. I love things like this where you can collect a matching building and interior from a machine, and it all looks put-together and cohesive in the end. The little details in the set are really great, as well. In my mind, it’s easy to imagine the noise of the patrons as the chat with each other and drink their drinks and feel the energy of a busy pub.

I’d also like to highlight the untied bowtie that I’m wearing. I recently became an official blogger for Ama. and though this is an older item of theirs that is in their main store, it’s the first thing from them that I am blogging since that happened. I’m so happy, proud, and appreciative to be on their blogging team.

Starry Night, City Lights

The Event 6 Republic just opened yesterday, and has all kinds of great stuff from many creators, themed around two of the world’s most iconic cities – London and New York. I spent way too much there, so there will be a few posts drawing heavily from the event. This photo started out as a much bigger set that I was putting together, but then I realized that I had a much better photo staring me right in the face, and ended up with this. I used to live in New York City, and can remember many nights when I sat in the living room of my apartment with the moonlight streaming in, trying to figure out what I needed to do. This photo captures some of that feeling that I had back then.

Perfectly Relaxing

I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for summer to get here. Thankfully, Trompe Loeil is helping is get ready early with this amazing new set that they released at FaMESHed, which opened yesterday. The set consists of two different types of chairs (one with a towel on it, one without) in both white and black wood, a beach towel, this pool area, and a free umbrella as a gift to celebrate FaMESHed’s fourth anniversary. All of the fabrics have a ton of different texture choices, which just adds to the awesomeness of the set.

There are also a couple of great accent pieces here from a new gacha set by ChiMia from a machine at this month’s Gacha Garden. The lemonade can bucket and beach bag really add a lot to the scene, I think.

In addition, one of my favorite stores, [ kunst ], has released this great new leather cuff for the event MIX. It’s so incredibly customizable, so it’s sure to fit whatever outfit you put it with. Enjoy this early taste of summer! I know that I will.

Defending the Throne

Like many people, I enjoy the TV show Game of Thrones. I’ve been waiting for the new season since the last one ended last year, and rushed to watch the first episode when it came out a couple of days ago. Then I saw this rendition of the Iron Throne from the series that Amitie released at Lost and Found, and knew I had to do a photo that included it. The photo is not a re-creation of any particular moment from the show or the books that it is based on.

One of my favorite events of the year, the Fantasy Faire, opened its gates last week, and I have pulled in a couple of the Relay For Life donation items as decor pieces for this castle.

Captured

I really love sci-fi and fantasy, so this time of year when Second Life’s Fantasy Faire is open is like heaven for me. There’s not too much science fiction there, but the fantasy elements are incredible, and from a wide range of creators. For this photo, I used the Puzzle Orb (Silver) from !Musa! as an accent piece, along with many pieces from Neurolab to create an alien atmosphere for the photo. The real star of the show, though, is the restraint and pose set from Ama. and Nais, at the event ROMP. They really give this photo so much feeling and emotion.
