Tropical Breezes

This round of The Arcade was deadly for my wallet.  As evidenced by the previous posts on my blog, I love beachy things, and there is so much beachy goodness there that it’s insane.  Today, I’m showing a lot of the gacha set from Ariskea, including this great hut (which, of course, was one of the rare items in the machine).  The hair I’m wearing, created by Ink, is also from The Arcade.

Also arriving on the grid yesterday was an incredible furniture set from Pixel Mode at FaMESHed.  You can see a bit of the chair and throw rug towards the left side of this photo.  I hope to feature both items again in another photo soon, because they are exquisite.

Stockholm&Lima released this bed at U L T R A that I really love, but haven’t had a chance to feature yet on my blog.  With its billowy white fabric fitting with that in the gacha set, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to blog it.

Summer Starts Now

The official start to summer in the northern hemisphere isn’t for another month, but the round of Whimsical that opened today will make you feel like it’s already here!  This great set from SAYO is at the event in a gacha machine, and looks like a perfect summertime reatreat.  As you can see, I’ve also gone blonde for the first time in a long time!  I used to be blonde, but switched to dark hair a few years ago.  It’s been my goal the past couple of days to get a good blonde look put together, and this is the result.

The hair that I’m wearing is from *drot*, who I am now an official blogger for!  It came out today at Whimsical, and I was able to tint it to match my hairbase really well.  It also comes with a hair base, though, which is great if you don’t have one that will work with it.

Starry Night, City Lights

The Event 6 Republic just opened yesterday, and has all kinds of great stuff from many creators, themed around two of the world’s most iconic cities – London and New York.  I spent way too much there, so there will be a few posts drawing heavily from the event.  This photo started out as a much bigger set that I was putting together, but then I realized that I had a much better photo staring me right in the face, and ended up with this.  I used to live in New York City, and can remember many nights when I sat in the living room of my apartment with the moonlight streaming in, trying to figure out what I needed to do.  This photo captures some of that feeling that I had back then.
