There has been so much amazing stuff coming out lately, but one of my favorite events of the year opens up tomorrow, and I’m so excited to be an official blogger for it this year – yay Hair Fair! This new hair that I’m wearing and loving is from Speakeasy. It goes so well with my favorite blonde hairbase, and I think it’s a really great style for this summer. There aren’t too many male hairs at Hair Fair this year, but the ones that are there are awesome. I’ll be wearing a few more of them in my next few posts. I’ve also been loving these new jeans from not so bad that are available at The Men’s Dept this month. Accessory-wise, I really love this new anklet from Ama. that is coming out for Oneword on the 17th. Full credits are below.

Vision In White

I recently discovered just how much fun it can be to decorate (mostly) monochromatic rooms with little pops of color here and there. For this photo, I decided to take it a step further and do my outfit in the same color palette as the decor. I’ve always loved decorating with plants, so I thought that some green pops, in this case both from the plants and from the absinthe fountain, would be perfect.

The true centerpiece of this photo, though, is the awesome bench that N4RS released at U L T R A. I recently became an official blogger for N4RS, who has long been one of my favorite furniture stores in Second Life. In the last couple of years, their mesh work has become so sophisticated to go along with their excellent animations.

Lakeside Reflections

There’s so much great new stuff coming out lately for guys that I’ve been absolutely astounded. This look is pretty different for me, but I really like it. For me, what really brings the outfit together is this brand new hair from Drot, available at Men’s Only Monthly. This is the first time that Drot has released dreads, but I think they came out really well. My tank top is also from Men’s Only Monthly, and was created by N-Uno. I’m also wearing new items from .: RealEvil Industries :., not so bad, E-Clipse Design, [Bad Unicorn], and RK Poses from a few different events.

I took today’s photo on the Hades sim. I’ve taken one other photograph there before, but it’s been a while. Hades is a beautifully-designed sim created by Pixel Sideways that is a great spot for gay men to meet other gay men. There are so many great spots on the sim to take photographs, so I’m sure I’ll do more there soon.

Fresh Pizza

There were so many great things released at 6 Republic, with many of them being gacha sets. This pizzeria by unKindness is one of them. Unfortunately, the creators didn’t have a building in the set for all of the pieces to go into, but I think it fits this new skybox from BALACLAVA!! really well. For decor, I used pieces from a lot of other stores at 6 Republic, because so much of it fits together really well.

Defending the Throne

Like many people, I enjoy the TV show Game of Thrones. I’ve been waiting for the new season since the last one ended last year, and rushed to watch the first episode when it came out a couple of days ago. Then I saw this rendition of the Iron Throne from the series that Amitie released at Lost and Found, and knew I had to do a photo that included it. The photo is not a re-creation of any particular moment from the show or the books that it is based on.

One of my favorite events of the year, the Fantasy Faire, opened its gates last week, and I have pulled in a couple of the Relay For Life donation items as decor pieces for this castle.
